This annual synod-wide event brings together senior high youth in grades 9-12, and young adults who are post-high, through age 22, for a weekend of faith formation, fun and fellowship. This year’s theme, “GO” challenges young people to live out their faith in ways that reflect Christ to the world around them, using the gift of the Holy Spirit within them. Congregational groups attend large group gathering with singing, interactive activities and videos, and youth are divided into small groups, and guided through thematic material led by trained staff. Along with the various learning opportunities, there are games, karaoke, inflatable games, a dance, free-time, and lots of time for meeting and making new friends. Come and join us for this transformational event!
The cost for this adventurous weekend is $210 (includes a T-shirt). All our youth in 9th through 12th grades are invited. We will travel to Lancaster by car pool, leaving from the church parking lot at 3:00 pm. We will be stopping by to eat dinner on our way there.
The church asks that each youth pay $100 plus the cost of the dinner on Friday, and the cost of lunch on Sunday, which we estimate to be about $20-30, plus any spending money needed. If money is an issue, please talk to Pastor Drahus. The church will provide the balance of the registration. The youth of Evangelical may bring one guest at the pastor’s discretion. Guests must pay the full fee of $210 as well as completing a copy of this form available in the Church Office.

Harrisburg Youth Quake

This year’s Youth Quake is centered on the theme, “ROOTED.” (Colossians 2:6-7) The weekend is a guaranteed awesome time with the band Fuller Still providing the music along with awesome Captive Free. The inspirational speaker will be Tiger McLuen. Come and join over 500 youth and recharge your batteries!
The cost for this adventurous weekend is $157 plus 2 lunches and breakfast food brought from home. All our youth in 6th through 8th grades are invited. We will travel to Harrisburg by car pool, leaving from the church parking lot at 5:00 pm. You will need to eat before leaving (later, pizza will be ordered at a $1 a slice at the Hotel).
The church asks that each youth pay $75 plus the cost of their meals, which we estimate to be about $20-30, plus any spending money needed. If money is an issue, please talk to Pr. Drahus.
